The well-preserved exterior of Santa Monica Historical Landmark #37 is a classic example of a certain Craftsman style associated with aeroplanes: The wide overhanging gables at alternating heights gives the impression that these roof planes are about to take flight but remain at the same time organically rooted to the site.
